1/24/26 @ 6:15 a.m. - ⚠️ Due to the extreme cold weather conditions and higher electricity demand, Midcontinent Independent System Operator (MISO), which oversees and manages the electrical grid system in a portion of our service area, has issued a public appeal for members to conserve energy until 10 a.m. Saturday morning.
By taking simple steps now, such as adjusting your thermostat a few degrees or postponing the use of major household electric appliances, you can help avoid potential power shortages later.
