7:05 p.m. - We are currently experiencing several significant outages in Boone and Story Counties. Crews are in the field currently working to safely restore power. This evening's high winds caused a mix of distribution and transmission outages.
Remember, if you encounter a downed power line, stay away and warn others to stay away. Always assume the line is energized and immediately call 911 and the co-op at (800) 833-8876.
