A group of Midland Power Cooperative employees recently spent a day volunteering at Ledges State Park south of Boone. Equipped with two bucket trucks, chainsaws, and a wood chipper, the employees worked on clearing dead limbs and overhanging branches along Canyon Drive, the scenic roadway that winds through the canyon. As a member-owned electric cooperative, Midland Power is committed to giving back to the communities we serve.
