Midland Power Cooperative’s annual Central Iowa EV Car Show is returning with a new location and expanded space for attendees and vehicles. This year’s event will be held at the Central Iowa Expo, giving organizers more space to showcase fully electric vehicles (EVs) and plug-in hybrid electric vehicles (PHEVs).
The free event will take place Saturday, May 23, from 8 to 11 a.m. EV and PHEV owners are encouraged to register and display their vehicles at no cost.
Attendees will have the opportunity to explore a variety of current models with nearly three dozen vehicles set to be displayed. They can also visit with experienced owners, take test drives and rides, and learn from Midland Power Cooperative's energy services team about how adding an EV or PHEV may impact their electric bill.
Midland Power members and vehicle exhibitors will receive a complimentary breakfast burrito from Borrachos Mexican Tacos. Food will also be available for purchase by the general public.
