Due to a fire Thursday afternoon at our Boone office warehouse, the line worker training field dedication scheduled for October 25 has been postponed. We apologize for the inconvenience and hope to announce a new event date soon.
Thankfully, the warehouse was unoccupied at the time and all employees were safely accounted for. While the warehouse was destroyed, the adjacent Boone administrative office was undamaged and open for regular business hours.
The fire had no impact on electric service and hasn’t affected our line crews’ ability to respond to future outages.
We wish to extend a special thank you to the Boone and Ogden Fire Departments for their rapid responses and outstanding work. We genuinely appreciate their courage and dedication.
