Midland Power Cooperative will host its 2nd annual EV Car Show on Saturday, May 10, 2025, from 8 to 10 a.m. at their Boone administrative office (2005 S. Story St.) The event is designed to educate Midland’s members and the public about the realities of owning and driving an EV.
Owners of electric vehicles (EVs) or plug-in hybrid electric vehicles (PHEVs) are encouraged to register and display their vehicles. Attendance is free, and there’s no cost to display a vehicle.
In addition to privately owned vehicles, several local automotive dealers will show their latest EV and PHEV models, providing both EV enthusiasts and EV-curious attendees an opportunity to see and test drive a variety of vehicles in one location.
Borrachos Mexican Tacos will be on hand to serve FREE breakfast burritos to Midland Power members and anyone displaying a vehicle. Burritos will also be available for purchase by the general public.
